Review loan papers to ensure completeness, and complete transactions between loan establishment, borrowers, and sellers upon approval of loan.  Accountable for the timely and accurate preparation of loan documentation on renewals and new loans (i.e. mortgage, commercial, construction, consumer, agricultural, real estate, line of credit and units).  Ensure loan documentation was made in compliance with loan approval process, Spirit of Texas bank loan policy and UCC guidelines.



-Verify and examine information and accuracy of loan application and closing documents

-Review credit memos for proper authorization prior to loan preparation

-Prepare in-house loan documents for various types of loans including but not limited to mortgage, commercial, consumer, construction, agricultural, real estate, line of credit and unit loans

-Assemble and compile documents for loan closings, such as title abstracts, insurance forms, loan forms and tax receipts

-Prepare and type loan applications, closing documents, legal documents, letters, forms government notices and check

-Present loan and repayment schedules to customers

-Build loan files by sending required documents for filing, paying invoices and track all necessary documents

-Review customer accounts in order to determine whether payments are made on time and that other loan terms are being followed

-Answer questions and advise customers regarding loans and transactions



-Pay off quotes to all loans

-Assist lending team as necessary

-Completes clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, faxing documents, scanning, organizing and maintaining files

-Complete other duties as assigned



-Multi-task, set priorities and goals in timely manner

-Detail-oriented and good problem solving skills

-Proficiency with Microsoft office products and computers

-Strong analytical and math skills.

-Inclination to follow through with tasks

-Establish and maintain a cooperative relationship with fellow co-workers



-Follow commercial loan funding and compliance checklist; provide all disclosures as required by regulations; report HMDA relationships accurately; refer to Spirit of Texas Bank loan policies and procedures



-One to two years of experience working in a similar position

-High School Diploma or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate required

-Associates degree in of accounting, finance or a similar field from an accredited university preferred
