Overview

Position is SBA Loan Processor that is responsible for originations and servicing of SBA loans.

 

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

-Log in SBA loan approvals & maintain all logs

-Request payment of SBA guaranty fees.

-Request & verify Tax transcripts from the IRS.

-Submit 912 personal history issues to Washington.

-Submit alien registration verification to Sacramento.

-OFAC

-Scanning of daily filing, credit and collateral files to Synergy.

-Assist with insurance tracking.

-Real estate and personal property tax tracking.

-Monitor collateral and credit exceptions with emails and letters to borrowers.

-Insuring the accuracy of the internal SBA exception report.

-Release and substitution of collateral.

-Release of collateral for paid off notes.

-Ongoing review of marketable securities valuations.

-Monitor daily NSF reports.

-Demand and acceleration letters.

-Assist with liquidation files as needed by setting up CPC ten tab files.

-Understanding of bank compliance laws and regulations affecting bank operations and lending services.

-Ability to use knowledge, experience, discretion and independent judgment in resolving problems.

-Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

-Demonstrated ability to handle a large volume of work under minimal supervision.

-Proficient computer skills – i.e., MS Word, Excel, Database and Bank Programs.

-Excellent oral and written communication skills.

-Knowledge of SBA 7a loan program, requirements and loan documents as well as SBA Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
